Rag Bag Recycle Event 2010
We recently held a Rag Bag Recycle Event in which staff, pupils and members of the public were able to bring in their old unwanted textile items such as clothes, shoes, bags, hats, curtains etc and help to raise money for RIdgeway High School.
This year we managed to raise funds of £167.20 by recycling over 400kg of materials which is a fantastic improvement on last year's event in which we raised £44.10.
Congratulations to everyone that brought items in and to the following Recycling Ambassadors that helped out on the day; Coral Smith, Millie Ross, Chloe Sullivan, Daniel Batty, Sharne McGuire, Ashleigh Boden, April Laithwaite, Ryan Sands, Olivia Holland, Zdenka Kolarikova, Dylan Steel and Jake Realey.
