Ridgeway Memorial Garden
What better way to have a community come together to remember loved ones and other important moments in life than a Remembrance Garden?
This is a peaceful place to reflect on special memories — a beautiful area to sit for those who choose to use it.
As such, Ridgeway is keen to set up a multicultural / faith garden for pupils and staff to go to for quiet reflection and meditation, perhaps acknowledging family members past and present and thinking about their wishes, hopes and blessings.
Ms Standish and Mrs I Jones have teamed up with a group of pupils who are keen to work together to create and maintain a memorial garden behind the Science area.
The garden will be available to pupils (accompanied) and staff to visit on request; unfortunately it is not big enough to accommodate whole classes so pupils will need to come in small groups.
If anyone would like to donate any plants or equipment, as always these would be gratefully received.
As you can see from the picture below our pupils have got some work ahead of them so please keep checking the website to see how they are progressing with the garden in the future.
