Every student receives a Progress Report at the end of each term. This gives details of the student's targets for the year in each subject and his/her current level of attainment. It also provides information on a 1-4 scale about homework, effort, behaviour and equipment for lessons. Where an issue or concern is identified, the student is interviewed to offer advice, support and encouragement. We also invite parents to become involved in supporting their child's learning.
In the first half-term, parents are asked to meet with their child's form tutor and to discuss, among other things, their child's targets for the year. Later in the year, at Parents' Evening, there is an opportunity to discuss progress with individual subject teachers.
