Welcome to our school website! I do hope that you enjoy finding out more about our wonderful school, which it is my privilege to lead.

As Headteacher of this co-educational, non-selective school, I am extremely proud to report that the 2009-2010 Academic Year has been a highly successful one for us.

Ridgeway has been recognised both locally and nationally as a High-Performing Specialist School. We passionately believe that our dual specialisms in Business & Enterprise and Languages equip our pupils for the demands of education and training in the twenty-first century.

GCSE Results!

In August 2010, Year 11 pupils gained the best GCSE results ever recorded at the school:

93% of pupils secured at least 5 A*-C GCSEs. Many of our pupils in fact achieved a much higher number of GCSEs at grades A*-C.
53% of pupils secured 5 A*-C GCSEs including English & Maths
100% of pupils secured at least 2 A*-C GCSEs.
